Summer

This has been a really boring and changing summer. I went to BC for a few days and that is when i noticed i am changing, not sure if it is for the better or for the worse though. Before summer came, i was mostly always listening to really hard metal or some screamo but, this summer, i have started listening to lighter music and rap. But mostly just eminem. Since i had a lot of time to think about stuff because of my level of boredum, i realized that i shouldn't only live my life for my friends, former friends and aquatences, i should be wrapped in with just taking care of myself and friends. So, this next school year is going to be a very dramatic with me staying away from people that i was close to last year. The reason for this isn't because i don't really like the people it is because if i go back to them, i may turn out like i was before, not just the nice caring part but the part of me that was usually sad all of the time. I dont want to live like that anymore. So maybe next year some people will end up hatting me but, i'll cope with it and maybe when i am away from some of those people, i dont have to partner up with them and get them through the school year while they sit there drawing pictures and copying.

The Inevitable

No matter what you do, no matter how good your intentions are, in the end, someone will get mad about it. This is inevitable, a fact of life. Most of the time it is really small and you don't know about
it. But for the time that it is big enough and people that are close to you are afflicted, your life
will get really messed up. If you try to do something good, people will try to fuck with you and the
same if it is something bad. At this moment, i tried doing something good for the sake of our group
you know to be more familiar and in sync with eachother but this ended up with me hating some of my friends.

What is pop culture

Pop culture is a word that shouldn't have an actual definition. There are too many ways to interpret the word "pop culture."The first thing that comes to mind for me when i think of pop culture is pop music. I strongly dislike POP MUSIC SO MUCH( insert clever torture comment here.) I am sure that some people say that pop culture is what everybody likes but i disagree. Most people like pop and rap but i definitely do not. I am more of a sub cultured music person. I prefer harder music like hard rock and metal. Pop culture isn't just music though, there is also movies, fashions, and even books. I am sure that most people would say that our main pop culture books and movies are twilight. I have never seen any of those movies or read any of those books because, well, i'm not exactly sure why. It just seems that i don't fit into the pop culture "norm" and since twilight is the main pop culture, i shouldn't watch it. Pop culture is confusing and this is the best way i can describe it right now

My Pop Culture World

My pop culture world, that i wish to be is by a large amount, not going to happen. Today, we have rap and pop songs that only talk about doing stuff with people. Our musical society is built on songs that exploit women, the only thing that i don't get is why they are the popular songs. Who usually listens too and buys most of the songs that exploit women? The teen aged girls do. So by doing that, wouldn't it be ok to do and say all of the things in all of the songs they listen to? Most songs are about meeting a girl at a club and __________________her. So wouldn't it be ok for the guys to do those things that the rap guys sing about? I don't get that at all. You could call a girl a really not mean name, they would flip out. and yet in the music they listen to, the rappers call them far worse things than that. It just doesn't make sense, just because they are famous, they get to tell girls what to do, when to do it and how to do it? I think it is just stupid. So, any girls that actually take time to read this, why do u listen to that kind of music and allow yourself not to be that kind of person?

Obscure social media sorce: Vampire Freaks

Vampire Freaks is like a scene or Gothic version of Facebook but with less protections. On Vampire Freaks, you can go onto other people's profiles who you aren't friends with and "creep" their profile, but on Facebook, they put up blocks to prevent this course of action. This site is basically for people who are "scene","emo" or "goth", if anyone else joins it who is, say a "prep", they will most likely be shunned on because i think Vampire Freaks is a social media to escape from those people who pick on the scene, goth or emo people and everyone needs a way out so that they can be who they want and not be criticized. I believe that people would sign up for this website as an escape from the world of pre-mature ___ ____s who pick on these people because of they way they dress, act or the music they listen to. I think this website is a great idea. This website offers a certain group of stereotypical backgrounds to all meet in one easy website to avoid other people. I honesty, love this site. I have seen some of my friends use it, it is a really dark website. I would have joined this site but, i do not look scene, goth or emo, so i don't really want to invade on their own thing that they do to escape from all of the "you know whats" out there.

IF:

-You boost people up instead of bringing them down, make their day and you never know, you could get lucky :)

-If you have noticed that someone you know is having a bad day, talk to them, most likely no matter how impacted their writing style is at that moment, they really do appreciate you talking to them, unless they tell you to go away, if you can't catch that hint, you are screwed.

IF:

-You use the internet as a protection from people when if you are denying their protection, you don't deserve protection. Wow, i used protection too many times. O.o

-You are a hacker

-You pretend you are someone else on someone's profile because very personal thoughts could be exchanged that aren't meant for certain people to read... bad experiences.

-people lying about their age because there are a lot of disgusting, perverted people who will do things with younger people. I don't think any of you need any details on what i mean.


How do I use social media

I use social media for many and different ways. I normally use social media to talk to my friends or people i know, make plans to hang out, and give advice to people and friends i know. That is just how i use social media, there are tons of other ways to use it, good and bad(look above)

If things get out of control

i have had some cases when things on social medias got out of control and ended up in fights with my friends on the ground and cops everywhere. For me, if things got out of control, i would most likely ignore it and hope it passes and if it doesn't, then i would think of a solution for it. Like for example, if someone got mad at me for some reason and wanted to fight me, i would just ignore it until it passes and if it doesn't pass, my friends will step in and help me out, only problem is, if i am not going to fight a person that is mad at me, then why should i let my friends beat him instead?

top 5 favorite movies

5. Cry-Baby: Cry baby features the current huge star Jonny Depp at age of 27, but in the movie he is a teenager. This movie has a very "bendy" plot line that bends all of the time. Cry Baby is sent to jail for a crime he didn't commit and then it goes into a five minute serious but funny musical where Cry Baby's girl friend cries all of her tears into a jar labeled tears and then i dont remember the movie very well but Cry Baby and some goon from the movie play chicken with cars, Cry baby wins and the other car goes flying off of a cliff. I basically like this movie because it is really funny.

4.Ghost Busters: This movie is about a group of guys forming a group to deprive the Earth of ghosts. At first no one took their group seriously at all but after the city was attacked by ghosts that destroyed the city, the people took them seriously after a long time of ridicule. The giant marshmallow monster destroying the city until it walked into some powerlines and turned on fire and melted to death.

3 GI Joe: This movie is very action packed, funny and emotional. The movie is about this group of warriors called GI Joe who save the world when no other defense can defend themselves. The Cobra which are the bad people, steal these nanomites that are remote detinated from a remote and when shot, destroy everything in its path and cobra gets them and GI Joe has to get back the nanomites and bring Cobra to justice. It is also funny because this one guy who joined GI Joe, is trying to hit on this woman that has been there for years and keeps getting shut down but eventually gets the girl. Finally, it is emotional because of one onf the members had a rough path with one of the leaders of Cobra, they were brothers, then his brother killed their sensai and then the other brother took an oath of silence that lasted about 20 years. It is sad.

2. Cellular: This movie is an action adventure with some comedy. This mom and her child get kidnapped and she dials a random number which is when the main character is introduced. He just answers his phone then he is on this wild goose chase to rescue the mom and her child. They are help captive in a barn on the outskirts of town, one of the bad guys enters the room and the mom finds a knife and cuts him on the other side of his elbow and he bled to death without any of the other guys knowing. the mom leaves the barn, hijacks a car, and drives through the barn and they both get away. After a bunch of other action scenes, the cops get involved and get into a gun fight in another barn on the outskirts of a beach, the cop wins then the story concludes. I like this movie because of all of the action and comedy involved over something so simple as answering your phone.

1.Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny: This movie is just laugh out loud funny. This one kid has a great imagination and wants to become a rocker when he is older, his parents are against his wishes so the talks to his poster with Dio on it and goes to Holly Wood. When he reaches Holly Wood, he meets this crazy guitar player who helps him get closer to his dream. They go to their first gig and get nothing from the crowd. After that, they look at some magazines and try to realize why they are so much better than them. They notice they all used the same guitar pick and go around trying to get a hold of the pick and use it to pay their rent. They end up with the pick and they rip it in half trying to decide who gets it and the owner of the gig picks up the 2 sides of the pick and becomes saitan. They have a rock off, Saitan wins but one of the men dives infront of the devil's beam and chop off part of his horn. One of the men yells a curse that sends the devil back to ____. It is just a great movie if you need some laughs.

subculture.....ROCKERS XD

if any have you have seen happy days, the fonz is exactly what i am talking about, except the Fonz was way nicer. Nice bikes, denim jeans, biker jackets with studs and girls attached is a rocker for ya. Rockers first started out in the 60's then in the 70's, it started up again in Britain. Rockers were really into, you know what, guess what kind of music they listened to, and if you weren't a rocker or are heavily involved in drugs, most rockers hated you. Well, this child will have no problems with trying to be a rocker. I wish there were more rockers around these days well, except for all of the drugs of rockers. In the modern cultured music, i don't fit in at all and i am always tired of people telling me" wow your music is gay, so you must be as well." That is why i want the subculture of rockers to be revived again, so i will fit in more in my peers and get mocked a lot less at school.

My 5 songs that got me through first semester

The Duck Song-Bryant Oden: i chose this song because this very funny, childish song is about a duck going to a lemonade stand and asking the man if he has any grapes and it just gets funnier and funnier and this song, every time i was down about something, i would listen to this song and i would cheer up.

Scream Aim Fire-Bullet for my Valentine: Whenever i had free time and i could hang out with my friend who plays guitar, we would practice and practice this song for hours, it took a long time with lots of blood and sweat,(i hit myself in the face with the drum sticks sometimes) we manged to learn it completely but since second term, i can't play the whole thing with all of my sports, homework, helping friends out and many other things, i need to learn this song again on drums.

Beast and the Harlot- Avenged Sevenfold: Since the drummer of this band has passed on the 28th of November, i have been trying harder then ever to be better at drumming. This kept me motivated and made me stronger because it is a really fast and long song. I have been trying to play any song by Avenged Sevenfold and i can't play them they are way to fast for me and complicated but i keep trying and trying to play at least one song by my favorite band and my idol (the drummer that died) and hopefully i will be able to play one of these songs then i could try to get my band back together and maybe become famous.

Tubthumping-Chumbawamba: I never realized how long this song has been giving me messages in life until recently. When i was a little kid, whenever the chorus of this song came up, me and my sister would start to head bang. After that, i found that song again after about 10 years and now that i can easily understand most songs, i use this song alot of the time like for example, on the volleyball team, i wasn't exactly the best player on the team so, looking back, and the chorus of the song is" i get knocked down, but i get up again" i used this song alot without even knowing about it.

Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown)- Tenacious D: This song is off of the movie "The Pick of Destiny". This song is about these 2 guys facing their fears (facing the devil at a rock off for Cage's life) If they lost, the devil would take Cage back down to (you know where) and if they won, the devil would have to go back to (you know where) and in the end, the devil won but, JB dove infront of the devil's ray beam, cut off a part of the devil's horn, then he said an ancient spell used to send the devil back to (you know where) and it was just about confronting their fears and alot more people should do that when they have a change (ya i know i am to say this but just go with it)
